SamFund and the Jeremy Hill Memorial Grant
SamFund provides support for young adult cancer survivors in the United States as they recover from the finacial impact of cancer treatment. Through direct financial assistance and free online support and education, The Samfund helps young adults move forward towards their personal, professional, and academic goals. It provides young survivors the resources needed to succeed in life, after giving everything they had in fighting for their life.
Our Story: The Samfund provides a permanent grant in memory of a longtime supporter and friend, Jeremy Hill. A beloved SAMFund Board Member who passed away in 2012 at the age of 43 after a prolonged battle with melanoma, Jeremy was a person of true character and of great generosity. He was a great friend to us. We honor him, his family, his friends and all of us who have experienced first hand the impact cancer has on those inflicted with the disease and to those around them.
